Spokane County Fire Protection District #11 was created in 1956 by 5 members of our local community. Our District has always been an all-Volunteer organization, and operates solely by our dedicated Volunteers, both past and present. Today, our District has two stations and on average 25 Volunteers on its roster.

Our Districts mission is to dedicate ourselves to serving the public in and around our District by providing the highest level of services, protection of life, property and the environment we live in. We maintain a full service program that includes responding to emergency services, quality training of our District members, and public education and fire prevention resources for our residents. Our Districts goal is to protect and respond to our residents with our available resources at hand.

The legislative body of our District is our Board of Commissioners, that meet regularly every month on the Second Tuesday of said month at 7:00pm the Rockford station. Any changes in this regular meeting schedule will be posted to the public at least 24 hours in advance.
